typo3shared/ext is a replacement (new name) for typo3/ext. All you need
to do is to move the files after an upgrade. It will only affect ISPs
who should know what their doing so I expect no real troubles. If you
remember in 4.0 we also changed the layout by removing the tslib symlinks.

Anyway those who use it should be happy. Right now the global ext folder
is WITHIn the source directory. After the change it's outside, so they
won't have to fiddle with it everytime they make a source upgrade.
