[TYPO3-dev] Static extension upload

Hi all,
i just created a static extension including all italian towns, province, 
regions and some other datas (Zip codes, ISTAT codes, National Insurance 
town codes, phone prefixes).

Now i found that i have some problems to upload it to TER because of the 
table size (8k records, 1.7M file size).
What should i know that i don't?
