Hi olly,

i agree, but for this case some will know that there is a locking feature, 
but don't know how to use/configure.
May be it would help to have a "In-deep"-documentation for admins describing 
this kind of features and how to configure.
Seldom an admin looks to all available features in "all configuration", and 
in future with new installer this won't be there.

I see some points that would be good to describe there
* cache mechanism
* locking feature
* page unavailable handler
* curl usage
etc.

In most cases people will google to find information about, but would be 
nice to have a place to look at.
