Hi,

i normally use on pages with many tables and huge data this setting:
mod.web_list.listOnlyInSingleTableView = 1

does that help?

And sure, the sql's used in list are not optimal with huge data in tables.
One question: which kind of data do you have with more than 1.000.000 
records?
