Hey Dmitry,

I also want to forget about PHP4. Unfortunately, a client of mine is 
using TYPO3 4.0 with CentOS 4 (I think support ends in 2011) with PHP4 
in a HA environment. My migration path is huge. Anyway, I told the 
client that this will cost him a lot, but is really necessary (Debian / 
RHEL 5 / TYPO3 4.2).

So, I'm your side, but PHP4 still exists for some time and upgrades are 
not as easy as they might look.
