[TYPO3-dev] can't install extensions

Did so, it wasnt using the system version of the extension until i did 
that... i tried installing a different RTE (fck) and it isnt installing 
either. well, it creating db, copying files and updating localconf.php, 
but it doesnt show as installed in the EM. any ideas?
