[TYPO3-dev] What to do with needed patches for extensions and author doesn't care

Hi.

I don't think there's a policy to handle such cases. Is there?
If there's no reaction and you think the extension is orphaned, you 
could simply fork the extension. This seems to be a more pragmatic way 
than asking someone to hand the key over.
