:-)    i did, i do, and i will do it again and again :-)
believe me, i try my best to overcome somehow this very steep learn curve.
it's a step-by-step approach to a not at all intuitive matter, at least 
for me personally.

yes, that's what i already have achieved.
works quite nicely, right.

BUT: going this way i have no possibility to add a caption.
or am i mistaken?

i have started this thread with the simple question where to find any 
help RE assigning a class for MEDIA.
and in the end i'm just thrown back to my own ignorance.

so there seems to be not one single inch of understanding my wish.
and probably take it as a suggestion to include it in the future MEDIA 
htmlarea?!

no, i want the editors to have control over which class they want assign 
to an image.
