[TYPO3-dev] create new page straight into Alternative Language?]

THE PLACE: complex multilanguage portal (talking about dozen of subsites each of them with a selection of FE languages, with shared pages and contents around them)


for several reasons (expecially to easy the big work for the editors)
i need to allow them to create new pages, but straight into the alternative pages they are allowed to.

so, if english is the default languge, and an editor has to manage the "french" section of the website,
i'd like that his "create new page" button does create the default page AND the overlaied french one, so that he can edit straight in french.


do you if it's possible without hooking TCE?

otherwise i was thinking about an hook in the create new page.. where i get the current BE page language.. and i crete automatically the overlay...

what do you think?
