Hi Tapio,

Why not use LFEditor with local workspaces? The local workspaces are based
on overide files which are registered in the localconf.php. LFEditor does
that automagically. But note, that only the backend supports overide files.
The support of such files in frontend extensions was dropped with the 4.x
release. The counterpart in the frontend is the well-known typoscript
language label overriding stuff now. Its already on the todo list of the
next version of lfeditor to support this method.
