Thats not the problem. All parameters end up as variables in the _root
timeline.
But the real problem is that in case you load a movie into a mc of another
one, _root isn't the "root" timeline of the loaded clip anymore.
So if you define a timeline variable in your "root" timeline and try to
access it lateron by _root.variable, it will not be defined because
_root is now the "root" of the loadermovie.

Using a loader for movies that do not now about beeing loaded, is a 
rather dangerous thing.
