[TYPO3-dev] GLOBALS[TSFE] is not available

Hello
I have a problem - i'm reading in my script $GLOBALS['TSFE']->fe_user->user['username'] variable but it is  equal to ''. I checked it with isset() and it is not set, it is not able for me. I have written declaration "global $TSFE" but still nothing. I dont know why - some scripts - like some extensions classes - can see this variable and read it to know front end user name - and other ones cannot see them. I need it because I need to know actually logged frontend user but I don't know how to make it able for me. Anyone has some suggestions how to make it possible?
