[TYPO3-dev] Setting the value the title tag

Hi all,

I discovered that tt_news does use $GLOBALS['TSFE']->page['title'] to
set the title of the page to the title of the browser window. Does
anyone have an idea why setting $GLOBALS['TSFE']->page['title'] is
ignored?
