hmm.. well I thought I did read SOME localization tutorial - would not 
have had it done on my own though.. I'll have a look at it - hope it 
won't break my contents.

To Point B:
resolved the problem by uninstalling the DAM.. it most likely provided 
some newer parts of flex..
