Thanks for the links and the information.

As to the envy - I highly recommend using it to your advantage. Write
an/some extension(s) to implement such features so that others can
then envy Typo3 :D If you can't write them yourself, Either: donate to
the T3A and file RFEs; Pay someone to do it for you; Try to recruit
new users to Typo3 who will be able and want to write it/them.
