[TYPO3-dev] Default content element for an empty page

How many newbees did you ask about the fact that they "need frontend
editing"?
Most of the TYPO3 newbees I met since version 3.3 never asked for it and are
happily creating and editing content elements in the backend without any
problems.
Could it be that it's just your belief that they really need it?

Even if it might be really necessary to use frontend editing I still don't
see the advantage of those dummy elements on each page.
If you think it's a must have for your clients feel free to create an
extension but please don't even think about implementing this as a default
behaviour.
It would be just annoying to always delete those elements if you don't need
them.
