[TYPO3-dev] compose 2 fields for label in records list

i'm developing my first BIG extension

i have my own "people list" in a table, and i'd like to list them (in both list module and element selectors) showing the field:
"name"."surname"

right now TCA label allows just ONE field to be shown.. is it possible to show 2?

i know i could save the name+surname string when saving the record, but i don't like it very much.
