Well, I coded my proposal with the automatic ISSET_sometag excision
meanwhile. Works fine, also with plain AND and OR conditions. I wounder
if it would be worth to puplish such a little piece of code as a library
extension.

But I have catched the idea of your example with the alternatively
removal of subparts or markes. A very smart idea to do it with the
classical tools. Should work in php as well and looks pretty usefull. I
think it' s worth to find it's way into the second edition of our TYPO3
book. ;-)
