Of cause there is no direct mention of these technologies, as this
would make the patent useless because it is too specific.

To say it with your own words: The patent itself says nothing about
this program "pro:FX2".

But the title of this patent is very descriptive: "Methods, systems, and
processes for the design and creation of rich-media applications via the
internet"...

and now take a look into the definitions part:

- qote -
Definitions:

Rich-media?Rich-media relates to the integration of multimedia components
into Internet content such as websites, advertisements, and online
editorial content (news, sports, etc.).

Rich-media applications?Rich-media applications include applications
composed of one or more rich-media components.

Rich-media components?Rich-media components include 3D graphics, video
clips, animation, special effects (including, but not limited to, zooms,
wipes, fades, and spinning text), sound effects, and stereo music.
Rich-media components may include WAV sound files, MP3 sound files, MPEG
movie files, JPEG graphic files, GIF graphic files, SWF Shockwave Flash®
files, and Java® applets.

Every CMS or Webpage with non-textual content is a rich media application
in the sense of this definitions.

And as i said "*perhaps* there is need for futher investigation".
If most of the laywers in the typo3 community think this patent doesnt
affect typo3 i will be the most happy guy around.
