I was not aware that this was a problem, certainly I have not come across
it. If it is a problem then your solution gets past it. So great it is an
improvement for sure! Not being involved in core work I couldn't reccommend
it.

This design allows the possibility for more options to be added at a later
date is needed.

You may want to consider the impact with the extension 'Extended Access
Control' 'ingmar_accessctrl'
