I agree with this rating of extensions for usefullness, support,
extensibility.
And there should be listings like
http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/popular/
for extensions who fullfill some other requirements than the number of
downloads. And maybe also a listing of points contributors to the
project will get. And also a special gift if someone reaches 1000
points, e.g. a T-Shirt with TYPO3 logo or an invitation to a special
TYPO3 meeting or a signed book from Kasper.
