Hi,

first of all I am trying to catch up ont this thread and give some more
feedback later....

This is exactly what includes two sides:
* It is great we have such a powerful leader that supplys such high
quality work
* It is sad that there is no open process where decisions and
developments like this are coordinated

This is of course my point of view.

I really like the idea somebody supplied (sven, dan?).
regular "code-camps" or alike seem to be a productive idea to me.
