[Typo3-dev] The Right Crew

Hi Sven,

There are a lot of interesting points in your text.

On the one hand I like the idea of redesigning the TYPO3 core and
splitting it up from the backend and frontend stuff. I think that will
make TYPO3 more reliable and extendable for the future.
As Kasper noted somewhere (sorry I don't know where at the moment) It
takes more and more time to implement things because the system becomes
more and more complex with every new feature that is plugged into the
core sources.

But the question is, if I understood Kasper right, not if this should be
done or what should be done but HOW could it be done and is there a base
in the community that has more power than just talking about changes.

Maybe the structure for developers has to be reoganized. But to be
honest, I have no idea how this can be done... I'm willing to do my
work, for example if someone comes and says "Hey, we need a patch or
bugfix for this or that. Can you do this?" Of course...

Greets,
Thomas
