While the T3 Association is a guarantee that _something_ will happen in terms
of core development it should never stop volunteer work and its a pity that
this list (Dev-list) has been discussing core features and architecture for
years without devicing how it intends to put it into action. Success is no
suit and certainly not talk. Where are the people with the hats on? Are they
only around then it is fun and downhill? With no results in terms of
release-worthy code we could just as well rename the list /dev/null.
So can I expect that all the people eagerly discussion the future architecture
of TYPO3 are also willing to stick around for all the years it will take to
implement it, maintain it, document it, build supporting frameworks for it
(like typo3.org), bugfix it, educate people about it? Or is the sad truth
that we cannot rely on volunteers for this and have to spend Association
money on every line of code in a redesigned system?
