[Typo3-dev] TYPO3 3.8.1 and phpMyAdmin (follow up to » TYPO3 3.8.1 released « )

Hi all,

to make things clearer: TYPO3 has a *global* phpMyAdmin Extension which is
provided with the TYPO3 packages and TYPO3 source. It's located in
typo3/ext/phpmyadmin. The version number of this extension is 0.0.5, ext key
is 'phpmyadmin'.

The extension 'phpmyadmin' available via TER provides the same functionality
as in as the global 3.8.1 (also phpMyAdmin 2.6.4pl3), but:

- it can be installed local or global
- the latest release is 0.2.1
- due to a size limit in the Extension Manger some language files
  are removed from phpMyAdmin

I originally provided this extension to patch a bug in Kasper's global
extension and then took over the maintenance of the extension.

I also think phpMyAdmin (and some others) could be moved to the local
install location to make life easier.
