[Typo3-dev] tx_mininews with templavoila

Hello List,

today I wanted to install the tx_mininews with templavoila from the cvs 
to a T3 3.8.0 installation but I get always the error code:

TYPO3 Fatal Error: Extension key "mininews" was NOT loaded! 
(t3lib_extMgm::extPath)

What does this mean?

By the way is the T3 cvs at sourceforge still active? I can't login nor 
browse the list.
