I have to admit I hadn't tried phpDocumentor on TYPO3. Now I have.

Even with setting memory_limit to 265 MB it didn't work all the way
through. :( So it's out of the question for TYPO3, at least for the core.

Anyway, I still like it, it is carfully crafted to cater for the specialties
PHP has in some dark corners, and the simple shortcomings of a loosely
typed, partly object oriented language.

I'll have a look at what Doxygen does, how it fits into what I like about
phpDocumentor and the way Zend Studio uses inline code comments. I planned
to come up with refined guidelines for inline documentation, anyway.
