phpDocumentator afaik is still under heavy development.
Last time I tried to use it on TYPO3-sources has been quite a while.
While it has gotten better I wasn't ever able to use it on a full
TYPO3-Source-Tree since it kicked me with memory and other problems.
my conclusion:
* doxygen is quite easy to use and does a nice job without problems.
* using phpDocumentator needs to be investigated with recent versions
again and might involve some more work.

If somebody is successfully using phpDocumentator with TYPO3 I'd be very
interested in a three line "howto", thx!
