Yes, - you could say so.
Though I don't think of this as a feature, but more of a basic design 
thing.

I think that one of the problems is that the user dataset isn't 
complete. That means that other extensions just create a new set of 
userdatas, instead of being able to just pick them from the generic 
user-data tables.

IMHO it would be much better to have a standardized set of userdata.

Are there any industry standards for this?
