OK, I forgot one more step: Remove all temp_CACHED_* files after you've made
that change because this configuration is still cached.

The server compat chart should also be re-checked because it's quite old
already.

Well, I'd say that _every_ Apache version which is still maintained will
work with TYPO3. (Non-maintained versions should never be used anyway...)
Same goes for PHP. Is there anyone using a lower version than 4.1.2 (from
Debian Woody)? Anyway, the Woody version works fine.
About ImageMagick: I don't like the recommendation for version 4.2.9 because
this one is soooo old. IM6 and GraphicsMagick provide same functionality +
quality but they are actively maintained.
Yes you are right, it's probably a good idea to write this down
somewhere... :-)
