I know. But you get tabs when you paste from Excel. But can easily be done 
to acceptc spaces and tabs. And of course you'll get tabs by pasting from 
notepad and Word, ...

Configurable - where? In the wizard itself or in the extension manager form? 
And how? As you noticed tabs are not entered easily. Perhaps like this \s = 
space, \t  = tab.

Another option is to do nothing at all (besides displaying an error 
message).

Really? I didn't change the original wizard, merely created a second one. 
Oh, you mean lorem_ipsum could deliver multiple lines. Nah, it's pointless. 
You only need only a few dummy pages, not  whole tree. For this you can use 
the "classic" wizard.
