[Typo3-dev] Replacing default BE screen

Hi!

I am looking for a way to replace default SC_alt_intro modules with my own
which should be displayed when user logs in to the BE (to provide them with
instructions and latest news). The problem is that alt_intro.php (default
script) is hard-coded in the alt_main.php. Does that mean that I have to
modify alt_main.php or alt_intro.php? I would prefer a more "upgrade-safe"
way. I saw such a replacement on one demo site but do not remember where...

Any ideas?
