[Typo3-dev] Translation of extension

sorry, this is no attitude but it a realistic approach how to organize the
further development of typo3.org. I'm currently working fulltime only on
the improvements of typo3.org, I created a big to do list and prioritized
it.

On the snowboard tour we created a concept for a new TER (and that includes
the translation part) which we will put into practise this year. So if
there are no blocking bugs at the moment, it doesn't really make sense
putting time into fixing details if we replace the whole thing in a few
months anyway.

I know that. Kali Salovaara for example reported that problem to Kasper on
28.04.2004.

In reaction to that Kasper created the new locallang xml format which allows
easier handling of translations without using the repository at all.

we're thinking about tighter rules and are getting in touch with the authors
of these extensions. If someone writes documentation for his extension it
MUST exist in english.

Join the documentation team and change it. I can't.

It is a vital part and we (ie. the TYPO3 Association) will put all our
effort into TYPO3 staying an international project.
