Well, that's rather a problem of the extension itself if the server is 
set to UTC.

What is the reader interested in if it comes to events, i.e. livestreams 
of olympic games.

1.) UTC
2.) Local time of the event
3.) Local time of the reader (the server can't be sure about this)

Everthing may calculate to different values.

3.) can't be calculated be the server, cause it has no sure information 
about the client's location.

But an extension should tell cleanly wich of 1.) or 2.) it is using.
