[Typo3-dev] lost templavoila mapping after utf 'fix'

That's a good thing to know, but I don't think that's the issue here. A 
fresh template object and data structure lost the mapping before I even 
got to adjusting the headers.

There are some more things for me to look at. I'll post if I figure it out,
