 One problem with that is:
 if you use it in a menu and need to use the menu state "IFSUB"
 (and all varieties of that)
    - "Not in Menu" works
    - while "Hide in Menu" doesn't (the parent entry acts as if there
      where sub pages)

 Is that a bug that should be filed at bugs.typo3.org? I don't know...
