[Typo3-dev] Dates in non-UNIX format

I think I must be missing something here.
Let's have a look at four dates along the timeline:
Jan 15 2004 b.c
Jan 15 348 b.c.
Jan 15 348 a.c.
Jan 15 2004 a.c
I assume that a normal OrderBy in an SQL Statement were to return the
following:
C03480115T000000Z
C20040115T000000Z
D03480115T000000Z
D20040115T000000Z
Which would be no good. As for all b.c. dates the ordering would point
into the past and for all a.c. dates into the future.
So either the b.c. dates or the a.c. dates would come in the wrong
order.
Right?
