Hello dev-list,

The default static template extension (defaultstatic_tmpl) is now available from
the Extension Repository. Documentation is in progress, all comments about the
extension are more than welcome.

After I am able to finish off the docs, I will work on building a new template
and make sure steps to do so are documented as well.

If you would like to propose your very own templates and offer them to the
community as an extension, I would be happy to help their conversion into a
template.
