[Typo3-dev] News on typo3.org

I don't know if this have been discussed before?
But I think it would be nice if we had a news page on typo3.org which was a
little more alive. Maybe an idea would be to split up the news page in
sections. One for general Typo3 news and one for extension news (maybe one
for site reviews??)?
I miss some news about what is "hot" in the community. Especially news
information worth mentioning about extensions.
This would of course, - in my opinion, require an 'editoral team'/newsdesk.

What is your opinion about this?
