[Typo3-dev] bug rc2? Unable to update setup?

Hello
Hope thats not my fault:
When updating values in the backend which are set by any static templates,
(or with ext_typoscript_setup.txt if it is an extension) the changes takes
no effect?
For example:
"VALUE UPDATED"
tt_content.stdWrap.innerWrap.cObject.11.value = somestring|
the line is in the maintemplate, but when looking at the value in the
objectbrowser the old value is still there.
