[Typo3-dev] Extension repository offline?

Hi,
is it possible, that the extension repositors is offline? I tried
to reach it with typo3 installations from various servers, that
usually work.
Has something major changed or is the machine offline, or the system
having a hickup?
Is there any page I can test if the system is alive and can further 
debug?
I click on Extension Manager in the BE -> connect to online repository
and I did not get the "usual" list.
(3.5, and 3.6.1 same problem.)
