 Why not?  
 Just copy the directories and export/re-import the database 
 and you are up and running again.
 (do you really need a howto for that?) ;-)

 This works for me and I've done that quite often by now. ;-)

 The only setting you'll have to change is locale_all,
 as Windows uses full words instead of the Unix notation
 (e.g. config.locale_all = german).
