| Regarding Ogo, despite the fact that i am not totally impressed with it, i
| think it would be worth supporting it e.g. from the projectmanager
extension
| or from a revamped user>task module.
in principle all the data stored in opengroupware could be integrated in
typo3. specially in my (ext) task list the highest priority has the ogo
part of volkers calendar.

also i'm being interested in sharing the document area of ogo with
typo3. that are parts that i want to use for a long-time project.

but all integrations of external systems like ogo should only be
optional in my mind.

this evening i have send this braindump to volker for the calendar part.
in that way many parts of typo3 could provide alternatives (internal and
external ones).

<braindump>
possible structure for a modular sk_calendar supporting multiple backends

sk_calendar:
provides the template part and an abstract class for backend modules
possible rdf-newsfeed template, a source element for configuring an
external source (backend source, inspired by eu_ldap)

sk_calendar_xxx:
backend modules for sk_calendar. only provide a library that returns the
data received from that kind of source, rendered by sk_calendar
(sk_calendar_typo3, sk_calendar_ogo, sk_calendar_?????....)
</braindump>

I'm not fit in the deep typo3 core to give serios statements if that
could be a way for several other parts of the system, but for the parts
where i like to integrate ogo, it should work

| Speaking of which, we still lack help with documenting the projectmanager
| extension, which would need time and attention from fairly experienced
TYPO3
| developers understanding the mechanism within and equally capable to
| technical writing. People with time on their hands, please contact Daniel
| Thomas (dt at dpool.net) if you want to volunteer and have time in the
next few
| weeks.

wrong person ;)
