[Typo3-dev] extending extensions

Generally we have not been able to solve the question. Most recently we have added support for extending extending classes - but this requires awareness of those extensions. Little complicated. And not scalable at all.

Anyways, the official stand is that extension classes is more like a "work-around" solution which can make it work until an API at the targeted position has been made. So maybe needs to extensions should trigger a request for an API? Well, I'll look into this.
