[Typo3-dev] Proposing hooks

Hi,

I don't know well the TYPO3 code for the moment. I'm looking for a way 
to allow a user to edit a content, but not to delete it.

So I'm trying to remove delete and garbage icon from the BE interface.

TYPO3 seems not to have the permission granularity required to permit 
such configuration. And so it does not permit to remove the delete 
button but letting the edit icon.

So I guess I need a hook here.

Is there a hook entry point nearby the BE interface generation code, 
where I should start to insert some coding ?
