[Typo3-dev] Access field

Hi,

Dont know if this is a development group only for the typ3 core but i
will ask anyway.

I want to make an extra field in the backend where i can set a
condition that needs to be true before the record will be rendered.
Exactly like the 'ACCESS' field. Just that this is based on another
field.

Well my problem is which systemclass to extend. Is there any
suggestions?

Is there a global var that tells typo3 wheter to render the record or
not? If so what is it called?

Hope someone can help, since i have struggled with this problem for
quite some time now.
