Sorry? - I found Typo3 about 15 months ago and until today I never looked
into the source code simply because I don't understand anything that's PHP.
I just had TSRef and Typoscript by Example for Version 3.3.0, the mailing
list archive on toaster-schwerin and a little bit of help from the
community: I never looked into the Golive Tutorial because I don't like
HTML-Templates and prefer pure TS coding and the modern template building is
something that I know of but never used.

But if you have a look at my postings of the last few months you will
recognize that I am not just able to use TS for my own projects but to
explain it to others as well. And the funny thing is, that the best
solutions I have been able to work out with pure TS have been created during
my first months of working with typo3. The multicolumn mailform or the
multicolumn custom image menus have been done in my absolute typo3 beginner
days even though other more advanced users told me that it would be
impossible to do. It's not just a matter of syntax or semantics but a matter
of affinity to the mindset behind it.

I agree that TS is very complex but for me it was very easy to understand
even though every day I find out something new or something that could be
done more elegant.
