[TYPO3-debian] mailformplus trouble

Hi all

I have installed tyou3 4.0 on a debian-sarge server running apache2 with
php5.1. Everything seems to be working fine. Except when I insert the
mailformplus plugin on a page, it will nor validate. The page will render
but validator.w3c.org reports "503 service unavailable" . I have spent
untold hours searching google to no avail. Any suggestions would be great!
The error is only with the mailformplus plugin. Others work and validate
fine.
