hmm..looks like your load average is fine. The peaks ( which could be the
freeze times?!) are not displayed by top and furthermore this doesn`t
necessarily mean the real machine is not the problem. When a vserver is
freezed (depending on what technology the vserver is set up, e.g. "UML",
"vmware", etc) it could "cheat" "top" by stopping all clocks/timers for the
vserver, so "top" wouldn`t check the outage.

I currently have no better idea, than to suggest you to google for a load
check and log tool. Maybe this could log better, so you can actually match
your freezes to a certain situation.

Another idea would be look into the system logs. Is there anything special?
