[Typo3-debian] which version of mysql should i use ?

hey,

i have debian woody and i want to install typo3 3.7.0,
but the stable mysql-version is only 3.23.49.

i found newer versions on backports and dotdeb

4.0.21 on
http://www.backports.org/debian/dists/stable/mysql-dfsg/binary-i386/

4.0.22 and 4.1.7 on 
http://packages.dotdeb.org/debian/mysql/

but which version should i use and why ?
